Our shop specializes in items used for sewing, quilting, and other crafts, NOT COMPLETED PROJECTS. The items in our shop are projects for YOU to create and maybe a little extra help from social media or our favorite go to, YouTube 😉.
We are a mother/daughter team who enjoy quilting and sewing together and sharing that joy with others. We love finding new patterns for quilts, bags, and fun household projects to make, then pass these ideas onto other sewists to create as well.
Athena (aka Mom) started Fourwinds Traders when she "retired" from her regular job but wanted to continue to do her hobbies of quilting and sewing. In doing so, she found that the cost was rather high. This prompted her to open a sewing/craft supply shop of her own but offering items at discounted prices where possible to her fellow quilters, sewists, stitchers, and other crafters.
Recently Mom and Daughter (Tamara) decided to team up as the business has grown. We hope to be able to continue to provide more inspiration to our customers, and continue sharing the joy of making something from the heart with the next generation.
